SICK's New Ranger 3D Camera is the Fastest on the Market
SICK has just introduced the Ranger 3D Machine Vision Camera, which the company is calling "the ultimate camera for the most advanced needs." The Ranger can provide up to 35,000 profiles per second, with very precise measurements down to <10 µm.
This very flexible camera has interchangeable optics and can be combined with light sources in setups optimized for each specific application. Ideal applications for the Ranger vary from small electronic component inspection to large-scale log inspection.
Even greater integration flexibility is offered with SICK’s multiple interface options, including CameraLink™ and Orgabit Ethernet. Furthermore, their innovative MultiScan technology allows the Ranger to simultaneously perform multiple types of inspections such as high-speed 3D, high-resolution grayscale and a patented inspection called “scatter.” Significant savings of time and money can thus be realized.
With its unsurpassed 3D measurement speed, high flexibility and MultiScan functionality, we believe SICK’s Ranger 3D Camera to be the vision component of choice for in-line inspection machines used in industries ranging from electronics, semiconductors and robot vision to wood, plastic, rubber and food. We are your source for complete information on this and all the other SICK solutions for machine vision, and we can assist you with your most demanding applications for these products.
