Siemens to Sponsor Car in NASCAR Race
Siemens recently announced that they will be the primary sponsor of the No. 19 Dodge Avenger driven by Elliott Sadler in a NASCAR Nextel Cup Series race. This event, scheduled for November 11, 2007 at Phoenix International Raceway, will be the second-to-last race of the year in the “Chase for the Nextel Cup.” As part of their association with Evernham Motorsports, Siemens currently serves as an associate sponsor the of No. 19 Dodge, as well as the No. 9 Dodge driven by Kasey Kahne.
Siemens also plays a vital role in technology development through their partnership with Evernham Motorsports. Asked about his company’s involvement in motorsports, Dale Wilson, Vice President, Sales SE&A, said, “We are very excited about having a Siemens car run in the Phoenix race in November. Our colleagues at Evernham Motorsports are partners in every sense, and we are proud to be associated with them.”
